‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’ & ‘u’

‘Article’ એ એક
અવ્યય છે જે કોઈ પણ જાતિવાચક નામની આગળ લાગે છે.

‘Articles’ ના મુખ્ય
બે પ્રકાર છે ::
a) Indefinite Articles (અચોક્કસ આર્ટિકલ)
b) Definite Article (ચોક્કસ આર્ટિકલ)

· Article ‘a’ & ‘an’ એ
અચોક્કસ આર્ટિકલ છે.
· કોઈપણ એક
એવા અર્થમાં આ બંને આર્ટીકલ્સ વપરાય છે.
· બહુવચન
નામની આગળ અચોક્કસ આર્ટીકલ્સ વપરાય છે.
· કોઈપણ
જાતિવાચક કે સંખ્યાવાચક એકવચન નામની આગળ આ બંને આર્ટીકલ્સ વપરાય છે.
1. Article ‘a’:

જો કોઈ પણ એકવચન નામનો
પ્રથમ અક્ષર વ્યંજન હોય અને તેનો ઉચ્ચાર પણ વ્યંજન થતો હોય તો તે નામની આગળ Article ‘a’ લાગે છે..
